The U District, north of campus along University Way NE (The Ave), is the most walkable and student-dense zone. Roosevelt, just north, has newer apartment buildings with modern amenities. Ravenna to the northeast is quieter and more residential, popular with grad students. Capitol Hill and Eastlake, accessible via the U District Link Light Rail station in under 5 minutes, offer Seattle's most vibrant urban lifestyle.
